Four Seasons Resort Seychelles has appointed Nitin Abbi as its new General Manager, heralding a fresh chapter in leadership. Nitin, who has garnered nearly two decades of international expertise in hospitality management, comes from a successful stint at the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru. Over seven years, he significantly enhanced the resort’s stature as a premier vacation spot in the Indian Ocean.

Nitin graduated from the prestigious Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland. He is celebrated for his vigorous leadership and steadfast dedication to superior service. His career showcases a profound dedication to cultivating outstanding customer experiences and promoting an atmosphere of innovation and service.

Building genuine connections and engaging deeply with others and the environment are just some of the lessons that Nitin will take from his time in the Maldives to his new role in the Seychelles. “We are in the people industry but the true luxury lies in building meaningful emotional bonds with team members, local communities and guests,” he explains. “And it all starts with investing time, energy and heart into the team; we are only as good as the team around us and it is only when we feel valued as people that we are inspired to go the extra mile to look passionately after our guests.”

Nitin describes Seychelles as “a homecoming,” having previously moved for work in 2016 to Silhouette Island. “It’s an incredible honour to return to the destination and lead a team in such a breathtaking location, where every day offers the chance to make a lasting impact on our guests and the community.”

Away from his professional duties, Nitin enjoys unwinding with long-distance running, playing football with his team, exploring golf and padel, and indulging in global cuisines. Among his favorite experiences is enjoying Creole-themed evenings featuring moutya, a traditional dance form from Seychelles.
